Just going to leave this Kotaku article regarding the 'online DRM fiasco' for the freshly unveiled Xbox One:

"Kotaku: If I'm playing a single player game, do I have to be online at least once per hour or something like that? Or can I go weeks and weeks?
Harrison: I believe it's 24 hours.
Kotaku: I'd have to connect online once every day.
Harrison: Correct."
If online connectivity will be a requirement to play SP games for the foreseeable future then good bye consoles. I already boycott PC games that require a permanent internet connection too.
Ah well I still have my Mega Drive and C64, those were the days!

I currently have (now)14 spare DotA 2 invites over on good old Steam, anyone here want to participate in the legendary battle of the ancients?
